Rice Swells Part 2

My first cooking experience; learning the hard way My heart went straight to my mouth on seeing the state of my rice. It has so swelled that the lid of the post that was once sitting comfortably on the pot was now resting on a heap of rice. I looked around to check if anyone came to add more rice to the one I was cooking. The gas cooker was covered with rice water, then I knew that I was done for. Just only if it knew. There was no signal, Not even a parting word, No final time together, No last prayers. It came as a thief in the night, To steal his life, Cut him away from loved ones, Rob him of responsibilities and...
